What is a product blueprint?

A product blueprint is a full schematic of a software application created in order to reduce risk, align your team and users, and setup the development team for success before coding begins. It often includes a user-tested clickable prototype, written requirements, solution architecture documentation and high level development estimates.

Just like all the parts of a car are designed, engineered and spec’d out before the they’re sent to the factory, your custom software application should be well designed, tested and engineered before it hits the developer’s assembly line.

Our product blueprint process and deliverables

All of our design offerings begin with an Alignment Workshop to understand the products objectives, company goals, and align our two teams. After our teams are aligned we go to work researching, designing and documenting your product interface and architecture. We generally work in 2-week sprints and check in weekly to maintain alignment and provide status updates.
