For more than 30 years, Bob Klein has been translating customer needs into technology-enabled products and services across various industries at firms like Caterpillar Overseas and Siemens Industry. From logistics to digital health, Bob and the team at Digital Scientists create custom-designed software solutions that focus on delivering business value while improving the user experience. Striving to connect his team with impactful work, Bob is committed to building sustainable businesses and supporting organizations that touch people’s lives and have a lasting impact. 

Bob has built and honed capabilities throughout his education and career in the private and public sectors. He combines an engineer’s technical knowledge with a business leader’s soft skills. Before founding Digital Scientists, Bob worked at Siemens in product lifecycle management, primarily with large e-commerce projects and ERP projects. This experience gave him insight into the end-to-end requirements necessary to build and effectively scale a business leveraging digital products and technology-enabled services.

Having lived and worked internationally, Bob brings a global perspective to his role and empathy that factors heavily into his decision-making – and his judgment about the types of clients with whom he partners.
