Madison Apartment Group

Madison Apartment Group, a national leader in apartment management with over 70 communities throughout the United States, came to Digital Scientists to redesign their website and mobile presence. They wanted to make the search and leasing process easier and more effective for potential and current residents no matter where they are browsing.

Multiphase Project

Over the course of 3 years, we partnered with the Madison Apartment Group to refresh their brand, website and mobile experience, and to build their company intranet. Their trust in our experience in the multifamily housing market was greatly appreciated – as was the opportunity to grow their brand through improvements in the online customer experience.

New Communities

Our goal was both to make it easier to lease – and to highlight the signature benefits of a Madison Apartment. Madison is constantly renovating and adding new apartments.

Experiment

We helped Madison Apartments design a desktop and mobile site that lets customers easily search for and view available apartments, view floor plans, apply online with lease-now prices – live chat with sales associates – and view an interactive map and directions for apartment locations. Users can also quickly schedule a visit right on the apartment page. We also helped create print collateral materials, downloadable right from the site, for potential residents to obtain more information.

Finally, as a part of enabling a more consistent brand experience, we worked with Madison to design a corporate intranet to help leasing associates better serve residents. The Sharepoint-powered intranet featured a fully-customized frontend design — with proprietary layouts for their business use cases — like seasonal and regional sales metrics, and year-over-year reporting.

TECHNOLOGIES

Property Search

With our previous experience using Property Solutions (now Entrata) and the multifamily housing market, it was easy for us to jump in and navigate the project.

Our frontend team created new, customized layouts site pages. A new navigation treatment was introduced to make the site easier to navigate.

ANALYSIS

Our team was delighted when the Madison Group reached out to us for continued updates of the mobile site and company intranet. Given our past synergy, we gladly accepted the opportunity to extend their digital platforms.

Throughout a series of strategic project engagements, we:

  • Helped Madison Apartments establish a fresh new look, representative of their brand and brand aspirations.
  • Refreshed the Madison Apartments website, giving a dramatic new web presence, complete with custom photography, 3D floorplan renderings, and improved search features.
  • Extended the visual campaign to a series of print collaterals – 9×12″ folders, printed postcard mailers, on-site physical and print signage, and more.
  • Designed the intranet from concept onward, inspiring better communication, more insights, and better leverage through custom dashboards.

We greatly appreciate the confidence that the Madison Apartments Group had in our design and development approaches. Throughout the majority of the project, we were given free rein to suggest new ideas and improvements. We are happy to have helped them grow and expand their business, while improving the experience of the customer leasing process.
