MissionZero.org
Interface came to Digital Scientists with a desire to create MissionZero.org, the most credible sustainability social network and resource on the web. The Mission Zero vision began in 1994 when Ray Anderson, the founder and chairman of Interface, Inc., experienced an epiphany around creating a completely sustainable enterprise.
Joining Interface is a veritable who's who of sustainability, including organizations like the USGBC, the World Resource Institute, and Georgia Tech.
The objective of this social network is to help both businesses and individuals learn how to use sustainable practices to achieve zero environmental footprint. The site includes 14 categories of sustainability news, incorporating feeds from over 300 hand-picked sites, a Facebook-like member dashboard, blog, group badges, and a Yahoo Answers-inspired Question and Answer section.
