Digital Scientists is pleased to announce the recent launch of the redesigned site for Shepherd Capital Partners, a California based hard money lender that provides loans for difficult to finance real estate. Be sure to check out their Perspectives blog which gives great insight into a wide array of financial and real estate related issues (topics we do not really cover in our feed growth! blog…).

Digital Scientists Chris Burnett and Tom Klein Attend 2009 Apple WWDC

Well, thanks to the success that we’ve enjoyed with our Mission Zero iPhone App (over 100K people have downloaded it so far), we decided that it was high time for us to join our fellow iPhone developers at what could be called the annual Apple Developer Woodstock.

It’s the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference. Heck, why don’t they just call it the Apple InterGalactic Developer Conference. It’s all the same to us. This is Apple’s annual conference that features the by now so familiar...

The Alpharetta Office Renovation gets Animated

Yesterday was the grand opening of our new Alpharetta office. It’s hard to believe the renovations are over and the doors are open for business.

We thought it would be fun to put together a quick video of the building’s progression. You may not be able to tell, but 21 S. Main St. is over 150 years old. We don’t think she looks a day over 100, but of course, we’ve put a lot of TLC in this renovation.

To create this video, we used an animation tool called Animoto, which we disccused...

Web Design Company Digital Scientists designs new Downtown Alpharetta Farmers Market Banner

With the opening of the second office, Digital Scientists is now part of the historic downtown Alpharetta business scene.  We decided the neighborly thing to do was introduce ourselves and our capabilities to other local businesses – some bring pies, we bring marketing tools and expertise.

Our first project was to update the identity of the Downtown Alpharetta Farmers Market.  We designed a new promotional banner that will appear on the street barricades around the market.

If you’re looking...

Earth Day with the Digital Scientists Web Design Company

It has been a very inspiring experience working with Interface sustainability-focused projects such as MissionZero.org (and the iPhone app) over this past year. We must admit their passion for sustainability has certainly rubbed off on us, and we too are now taking steps to reduce our environmental footprint. These steps have included small things like getting a can crusher and making sure all of our computers are properly shut down at night to larger initiatives like our Sustainability Comes...
