When we start working with a client, right up front we want to understand what you want to achieve. Once we’re clear on your objective, your customer target(s) and your brand’s key benefits, we can get to work defining what digital marketing elements will help you get where you want to go. 2. digital marketing plan

While developing a strategy is great, the real work is making everything work in the real world, with the available resources and in the required time. We’ll work with you to develop a digital marketing plan with timelines, critical paths, and resources. And, of course, we can’t forget the money. We help you identify low or no cost web and media tools, so you can spend your money on what drives your business, not on expensive software.

3. plan implementation (media placement, search marketing)

Once we’ve finished creating a plan, we roll up our sleeves and get to work making everything happen. While the details vary by project, we prefer to manage all search marketing and media placement in-house. We’re the best at this, and we know that we’ll need to track these efforts closely if we are going to be able to report your return on investment (ROI). In any case, we provide you a web site where you can track our efforts on a detailed calendaring and project management system. We want you to see everything we’re doing, no different than if we were in the office next door and you just popped in.

4. investment tracking

Once you’ve moved into plan implementation, you start having to pay for things like media, web site development, and so on. We take our responsibility very seriously (and we used to be CPA’s, so we dream in numbers) and track all of your investments very closely, providing you a weekly update on expenditures. You will never get an invoice that’s a surprise. Ever. And that’s how things should be.

5. interim adjustments

As you continue executing your plan, inevitably you learn new things or your business changes or one of a million things changes. In any case, we’ll be at the ready to recommend adjustments to the plan along the way. When you hire us to manage your digital marketing, we’re not robots. We’ll always be thinking about how we might optimize your investments to get you to your objective.

Even the most successful and experienced marketers rarely have the discipline to calculate the ROI on past marketing investments.
